** NOTE: Beginning in 2007 Ford redesigned the E-150 suspension to be virtually
the same as the E-250 / E-350 while still maintaining the E-150 name plate.
This was accomplished using the E-250 / E-350 8 lug differential and subsequent
braking and suspension. For some reason the E-150 name plate was still being
used. Bottom line is … unlike the E-150’s of the past with weaker 5 lug differential
suspensions and less hauling capacities, 2007 or newer is a safe bet for those
of you looking for hauling capacity / capabilities.
