The Ford E- Series is the van you want to stick with for performance and longevity! Impossible to compare to the gutless 6 cyl, frameless... (Built like a Focus) Macphereson strut suspension; Ford Transit.
** NOTE: Beginning in 2007 Ford redesigned the E-150 suspension to be virtually the same as the E-250 / E-350 while still maintaining the E-150 name plate. This was accomplished using the E-250 / E-350 8 lug differential and subsequent braking and suspension. For some reason the E-150 nameplate was still being used. Bottom line is … unlike the E-150’s of the past with weaker 5 lug differential, suspensions and less hauling capacities, 2007 or newer is a safe bet for those of you looking for hauling capacity / capabilities. The E Series Van was produced until 2014.
